NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PORT SHELDON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Please take notice that a Public Hearing will be held at the Port Sheldon Township Hall, 16201 Port Sheldon Street, West Olive, Michigan, by the Port Sheldon Township Board of Trustees on June 14, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. to hear and consider the following matter(s):
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE PORT SHELDON TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE; TO AMEND SECTION 2.21 TO ADD NEW DEFINITIONS RELATED TO SOLAR ENERGY COLLECTORS; TO AMEND SECTION 4.44 RELATED TO SMALL-SCALE SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS; TO AMEND SECTION 9.03 TO ADD A NEW SPECIAL LAND USE RELATED TO SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS; AND TO AMEND ARTICLE XVIII TO ADD A NEW SECTION 18.32 RELATED TO UTILITY SCALE SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS.
Any persons interested in these matters may appear at such hearings in person or by agent or attorney. Written comments will be received at the Township Office until the end of business hours the day of the hearing. Copies of the draft ordinance are on file at the township office for public inspection during regular business hours or available for review (here) online at www.portsheldontwp.org.
